This was their debut LP. Great Latin orquesta out of New York during the early '70's that was mainly comprised of music teachers. Such a shame this great band is no where around these days. Great thing is that Ramon Rodriguez is still around New York. Works as the Musical Director at El Museo del Barrio teaching Latin Music to our youth.

A masterpiece. I knew Al Santiago growing up in the Bronx. This album never received the full recognition it deserves. The cuts and the musicians make up a perfect blend of swinging danceable Latin Jazz tracks. I have had the vinyl since it first came out. If I had it on CD I would air it on the Tuseday night Salsa show that I co host in Baltimore. Al was a man of vision who spotted talent and made it available to everyone. He is missed.

You are so correct! Al Santiago was a true visionary.
