These recordings took place in Canada during Nov. 97. The live blitz of performances (8 shows in 7 days), was Gregory's first Canadian tour in 8 years. Each and every performance provided Gregory with great fans lined up to listen to the Cool Ruler strut his stuff, and that he did. Gregory is backed up by Toronto reggae stars "Hit Squad", who were stellar at each and every performance, many said the best band Gregory had ever taken on tour. The tour was billed as the Happy as a King tour 97/98. This tour was designed by Raven Records to promote the release of Gregory's latest "Happy as a King" CD, in Canada. It was produced by Canadian producer Wyn Anderson. The tracks that are included on the new live CD were recordings from performances in Toronto at "The Opera House" and in Montreal at "The Cabaret".
